The Legal Aspects of Career Transitions –a lot has changed in the past few years

Within the last six months, let alone the last decade, a lot has changed in terms of equity, compensation, employee and employer rights. Whether you are an executive in the process of leaving your employer, or are contemplating making a move to further your career—you need to be well versed in current market practices, know your rights and know what is and is not within your negotiating framework.

Executives are reluctant to discuss compensation matters publicly, especially in today’s climate. Severance, equity, compensation and employment agreements are critical but rarely discussed. Here’s your chance to build your foundation of knowledge.

In this webinar, Vikki Pachera will explore these topics with Eric Kastner to understand how he sees the world of employment law from his vantage as the managing partner at Kastner | Kim.

You’ll learn about themes and trends in severance agreements, employment agreements, offer letters, compensation and equity. We’ll discuss everything from common problems in negotiating a separation and the potential for litigation stemming from exiting a company through what to expect in terms of settlement offers—how they might be structured through the use of equity and how that’s changed substantially in the last decade.

This webcast is offered to you jointly by The Pachera Group Executive Search and Kastner | Kim LLP.

At The Pachera Group, all of our partners have been successful executives in their own right before moving into the search profession. We specialize in technology and new media markets in the search of Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Technology and General Management professionals.
