We'll Miss You at the Helm, Steve

In my universe, it is impossible not to love Steve Jobs. I drank the kool-aid a long time ago, and have wondered at…and purchased…all things Apple ever since.

My iPhone and iPad and MacBook and MacPro are all small works of art. When I go into the Apple store…any Apple store…I’m just a bit happier to be there among the shiny, happy people and their really cool toys.

When Steve stepped down as CEO of Apple a few days ago, Jennifer Valentino-DeVries of the Wall Street Journal compiled a list of some of his best quotes. The article can be found at the site referenced below. There are some great comments…definitely worth reading all the way through.

One of my favorites:

 “Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle. As with all matters of the heart, you’ll know when you find it.
